Are the historical narratives of the Old Testament a bunch of myths and legends concocted by Jews writing during the Babylonian exile, as ‘sceptics’ like Richard Dawkins say? What is the evidence for the historicity of history according to the Old Testament? This seminar will focus on presenting the internal and external evidence as it relates to the sweep of biblical history from Abraham’s Ur to Daniel’s Babylon. There will be practical… Read more
So much is written about spiritual growth, and anyone in a relationship with God wants to grow spiritually, yet often it can seem so complicated! We can feel pulled between intellectual approaches on the one hand and the pursuit of mystical experiences on the other. One expert tells us to look back into the mists of time, while another tells us to look within, or to look at their list of how-to steps. In the midst of all the noise, somehow Jesus… Read more
Experience community around the Word as we take a deep dive into selected passages from Daniel. The book of Daniel presents a compelling picture of how confidence in God’s sovereignty over history empowers faithful witness. We will be using manuscript Bible study, a highly interactive inductive method, which emphasises discovery and active learning. (Limit: 30 participants)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a new concept, but in recent years it has fueled amazing new capabilities, from computer vision to language processing. Developed with enormous volumes and diversity of data and unprecedented computing power, large-scale AI systems have begun to manifest emergent—unplanned, unexpected, unexplainable—capabilities. This seminar will cover, at a high level, the foundations for AI technology, where it has excelled… Read more
The distraction culture of constant texts, calls, and emails can keep us from deep work. The urgent can crowd out the important goals and dreams we often relegate to the back burner: the prayer life we long to develop or the new ministry plan we want to design. Time is the only commodity we can’t get back! This seminar will help you identify common distractions and excuses that keep you from getting important work done and develop useful… Read more
Ministry and leadership can be a lonely task, but we need not face this alone. One of the sad realities of mission and church leadership in Europe is just how many good godly men and women find themselves isolated and alone, devoid of meaningful peer ministry relationships and community. Too often this leads to disillusionment and burnout. It is abundantly clear that this is not God's intention, and neither is it necessary. This seminar explores… Read more
In this seminar, we will discuss principles you can apply to both the message and layout of your fundraising communications to be more effective at connecting with an audience, helping them understand the need and how they can respond. We will look at some real-world examples of how the principles have been applied and the results they generated as well as suggest how you can plan to be more effective. In addition, you are encouraged to bring… Read more
The current urban population, connected by consumerism, social media, and the entertainment industry, forms the largest global youth culture ever to exist. It spans the globe, sharing the same values, listening to the same music, watching the same movies, and sharing the same posts. They do not look to the church for answers but believe it to be a dead and empty tradition of the past. But God’s heart is broken for this lost generation and we… Read more

How does one approach defending the Bible when many people around you do not regard it as an inspired book? Defending the Bible’s reliability in part assumes someone is interested in that question. What happens if they have no regard at all for the biblical text? Apologetics today needs to give more thought to where people are coming from as we engage them about faith. This seminar will not only explore the question of showing the credibility of… Read more
Learn key biblical principles that will set the stage for God to work, bringing health, vibrancy and renewal to your church and ministry. No matter the size or health of your church, this practical and biblical strategy will help you evaluate the strengths of your ministry as well as assess the challenges that may be hindering it from thriving.
Every Christian, but especially Christian leaders, must fight a constant battle against temptation. This seminar will encourage leaders that through Jesus they can live a victorious Christian life and will provide biblical strategies for resisting sin through the power of the Holy Spirit. It will consider three crucial questions: (1) Why are we tempted? (2) Can we resist temptation? (3) How do we resist temptation?
