In October, 1978, a “summit conference” of 279 Christian leaders produced the “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy,” a document that has had worldwide influence. This workshop will discuss the meaning and importance of the doctrine of inerrancy, including personal reflections on the conference from our speaker, who was at the time a 30-year-old participant.
