The church today is being torn apart by tribalism and hurt by both unbiblical teaching and a failure of integrity. This Master Class will look at the gospel as the cure we desperately need. It will unpack the message of the gospel, look at what it means to be people of the gospel and why that is so important, and how we can cultivate integrity to the gospel.

1) What are Gospel People?
This session will seek to define the gospel as laid out in Scripture, and therefore what people of the gospel believe.
2) Revelation from the Father
This session will examine Jesus’s own view of Scripture, and how evangelicals since have sought to understand and treat the Bible.
3) Redemption by the Son
In this session, we will consider the person and work of Christ as the heart of the gospel. We will also see why justification by faith alone is so necessary to the biblical good news.
4) Regeneration through the Spirit
This session will show that faithfulness to the gospel requires more than bare biblical orthodoxy: it requires a new birth. We will see why evangelicals have traditionally emphasised our need for renewal and holiness.
5) The Importance of Being Gospel People
In this session, we will look at Paul’s letter to the Romans as an argument for the importance of being people of the gospel rather than people of any other agenda.
6) Gospel Integrity
We will conclude with a look at the apostle Paul’s description of what it looks like to have integrity to the gospel. We will also seek to diagnose ourselves with the lessons learned in this Master Class.
