Zsolt Uri-Kovács

Zsolt Uri-Kovács leads a youth ministry organisation in Hungary.
I grew up going to church and Bible classes, and my conversion was not a one-time event but a long process of surrendering my life to Christ. At school, I felt worthless and sought love and recognition from people but failed. Christ showed me how He sees me and how much He loves me. Now, He is all that matters to me, and I'm striving to give Him every part of my life.
My faith was shaped when I first started going to youth group and found what a loving, Christ-filled community is like. A second turning point was getting my current job where most of my time is spent ministering to young people. In that role, I'm experiencing Jesus' care and relationship with me.
I hope to develop and expand my knowledge and skills. I also enjoy meeting new people and organisations, as this helps me in my work.
I serve with Ifjúságépítők where I work with young leaders—mentoring them and helping them with support materials. I also lead youth groups, run sessions, and teach youth about Christ and the Gospel.
I have led youth groups in the past and am currently leading them.
My staff and I serve daily with an aim to reach as many youth leaders in Hungary and the Carpathian Basin as possible, to embrace them and prepare them for ministry.
