What is your ministry?

I lead an international church in Kraków, which means frequent teaching, constant discipling, administration, envisioning, evangelism, counselling, etc. I minister on the NCMI team, helping other church pastors with whatever they need, visiting and encouraging churches within the NCMI network, and conducting leadership training. As chairman of the board of Misja Pokoleń, I liaise with people from different denominations and organisations. As a member of the board of the KCHWE denomination, I help shape the denomination's doctrine, formalizing new church congregations, teach at our AGM's, and visit other congregations.

When did you trust Christ?

I was born into a Roman Catholic family in Poland and grew up in South Africa. At 22, I was invited to an evangelical church. I had never felt the presence of God in such a fantastic way nor heard such relevant Bible-based teaching. It was awe-inspiring. I continued to attend on and off for about three months while reading the Bible until the early morning hours. I was so fascinated by Jesus. I understood that I needed to commit seriously to Jesus and follow Him. It was a radical change.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Moving to the UK to help start a church was life-changing. It required faith and guidance to pack up our lives and move into the unknown to help our friends start a church in London. We were eventually asked to join the church's leadership team as deacons and elders. It was wildly stretching for a mere computer programmer! After nine years in London and visiting Poland on numerous occasions to translate for various international visitors, we felt God was calling us to start a church there. This was a massive step into the unknown. We created a discussion group, which became a home group, and eventually, we started to meet in a rented venue. We have been here for 18 years and are privileged to lead a wonderful international community in Kraków.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to learn from excellent teaching, meet people passionate about Christ and His kingdom, and be inspired and energised to give my all for Jesus.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have been a homegroup leader,  worship band leader, church elder, senior pastor, member of the international NCMI team, chairman of the board at Misja Pokoleń, and a member of the leadership board of the KCHWE denomination.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Investing in people like me, who are called to minister here, means sharing Christ's burden on this nation. There is so much to do here. New leaders need to be trained and released. Current leaders need to be trained and encouraged. Churches need to be planted, and strong bonds of brotherhood need to be developed between them. We are in a key position to be able to play a small part in that through the various things we are involved in. I would appreciate this opportunity to learn, network, and be refreshed by all that happens at the European Leadership Forum.
