Timotej Máhrik

Timotej Máhrik leads a country-wide evangelistic organisation in Slovakia.
My father was a pastor. Going to church, serving the church, and spiritual disciplines have been part of my life since childhood. When I was 12, I realised that I was a sinner and I prayed for Jesus to forgive me. I understood why Jesus died on the cross and what repentance and mercy meant on a very personal level.
Growing up in a pastor's family, my entire life revolved around the church. The leaders of the church demonstrated a sacrificial ministry and lifestyle, and God used the youth ministry to break my heart for lost teenagers and university students. My wife and daughter have had a huge impact on my faith. After my wife and I lost 4 babies, we experienced God's goodness differently. Eventually, my wife and I were invited to join the ZaKostolom church plant. I became an elder, worship pastor, and youth ministry leader. God's Word is impacting my life daily.
I look forward to learning new teaching and training methods while also hearing testimonies of people from other countries. I hope to build new connections and be inspired and renewed.
My current role is Director of Organisation for TCKompas leading a team of 25 full-timers, 10 interns, and 100+ volunteers towards helping, training, and inspiring youth leaders across Slovakia to become followers of Christ and lead others to Jesus in the context of the local church.
In my local church I led youth ministry for teenagers. I also served as the Josiah Venture Slovakia Director of Operations.
Our entire ministry is funded through personal donations, and the Forum would be a significant expense. Our entire team is in active and intense ministry daily. Everything we learn we bring to Slovakia. Your investment and effort will be utilised and multiplied. We see the fruit of our ministry. We would love you to be part of what God is doing here.
