Timotei Ioan Medrea

Timotei Ioan Medrea is a field worker with ICMDA in Romania.
I grew up in a strong Christian family. My father is a pastor and my mum is a Sunday School teacher. Fourteen years ago, I was in church, and the pastor was preaching about rededication to God. I decided to give my life to Christ and to follow Him with all my heart.
Going on mission trips to Serbia for two years with my family and organising camps for poor children with my mum impacted my Christian walk. In high school, I was mentored by a missionary working in Asia for 12 years. I have been on medical mission trips in Romania, Ukraine, Guatemala, and Tanzania.
I hope to meet more people in my field, learn from those involved in leadership, and fellowship with brothers and sisters who serve God.
I am a fieldworker for ICMDA and oversee a region in Europe, establishing new organisations and strengthening existing ones. I am also a cluster coordinator for the Confident Christianity course in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Lastly, I am the National Leader for junior doctors in Romania and go on medical mission trips in Romania.
During university, I held leadership positions in a Christian medical association in Romania, organising meetings, summer camps, and conferences. I led various courses for ICMDA for almost two years, especially for students and junior doctors.
I want to continue to spread the ICMDA vision, which is for doctors and dentists to have an effective Christian witness in every community worldwide.
