Theodorus Kadrianto
My role is to help start and strengthen national movements of Christian medical ministry in Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania. Now I also facilitate multiple trainings in ICMDA: Saline Process (sharing faith with patients), Confident Christianity, Bioethics, Servant Leadership, Sydenham Leadership (Christian medical leadership), and Healthcare Mission. In Indonesia, I coordinate the mission department of CMDF Indonesia which includes many teams and interest groups: Saline Process, Medical Mission Course, member care, unreached people groups, government clinics, mission hospitals, bioethics, Christian medical lecturers, and health policy.
I trusted Christ on March 4, 2007. I was living a sinful lifestyle as a dental student. On that day I was at the lowest point in my life, but that night God reminded me of 1 John 1:9. I was crying when I knew that God forgave all my sins, and since then God transformed me to be a new creation in Christ. I surrendered my life to Him on that day.
I started to join a Christian dental fellowship on my campus, that was ministered by FES (Perkantas Indonesia). I joined many national FES conferences since then. In 2011, I started to be a volunteer in CMDF (Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship) Indonesia and continue to grow in both FES and CMDF communities. In 2016, I was appointed to serve medical students and junior doctors with ICMDA Southeast Asia. I was particularly blessed by powerful conferences, communities, and mentors from both FES and CMDF. Since 2016, I have been mentored by many other international leaders in ICMDA, including Dr. Peter Saunders.
I want to attend for the great teaching, resources, and networking. Secularism has reached Asia, so I need to learn from Europe how to handle these issues. Many Asians (including people in medicine) are now studying/working in Europe so networking between us and European leaders will be very important.

As I strive to bless others through ICMDA ministries in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, attending ELF will be a good week to stop, ponder, and be equipped to serve His people further. In EA, SEA, and Oceania region we are facing difficult issues of secularism, Islam, geopolitical conflicts, war, trafficking, and other issues that I feel the need to be constantly equipped by good teaching or by mutual learning with people facing the same issues.
