Tereza Dušánková

Tereza Dušánková is a fundraiser for a Christian non-profit organisation in the Czech Republic.
I trusted Christ in 2018, two years after my first contact with Christianity. In 2016, I was with my choir in the USA; we sang in many churches during worship, and it really touched my heart. We stayed with Christian families during our stay, and 'my family' accepted me as I was. We had many conversations about faith, and it started to be very interesting for me. Then, I returned to the USA two years later on a Christian internship, which definitely changed my life. I got baptised, I found my church in Czech, and I started to live by faith.
The first was the USA experience that I described in the previous question. The second was in 2021 when many people around me died for many different reasons, and it was very hard for me. I was very angry with God and didn't understand why this was happening. But because of His grace, God sent me wonderful people to my life, and my church also really supported me. Now, my faith is much stronger. A third defining moment is that I love to do Bible journaling, which is not common in Czech. My dream was to bring Bible journaling to Czech and show girls that it can be a very powerful way to spend time with God. God made my dream come true two years ago when I had my first Bible journaling workshop; more than 150 people were there. That's a powerful fulfilment for me of the Bible verse, 'Turn your eyes on God, and He will give you the desires of your heart'.
I heard about the Forum from my co-workers and my boss. I expect inspiration; I would be happy to hear from others how they work with people, how they serve, and receive wisdom from them.
I ama fundraiser for NePornu. I am still a part of the student group leader for university students in our city. I help with organisation services for students, I lead the discussions sometimes, I moderate the services, and I am a contect creator on our social media.
I was a student leader; we organised a church for university students, and I was one of the core team who helped with it.
You should invest in me because I am very open, and I am very excited when I have an opportunity to learn something new. I love to see the new things I learned become useful in my job and ministry. I am ready to receive fresh motivation and purpose in what I do. I think that we still have much to learn, and I want to develop my skills.
