Szabolcs Sipos

Szabolcs Sipos is the director of non profit organisation in Hungary.
I grew up in a Christian family. My father was a pastor, and I heard him preach the Gospel for my whole life, but I was 17 when I personally understood what the Gospel meant for me.
My parents gave me wonderful examples of living a godly life and demonstrated what it means to live in a daily relationship with Jesus Christ. After high school, I spent a year at the Liebenzell Mission School in Germany. Later, I became involved with the Hungarian Bible Union, which also played an important part in shaping my character.
The Forum’s lectures are of great value to me, and I have gained much encouragement from them. Through the Forum, I have grown in knowledge and in my personal life—in Christian spirituality and in marriage. Also, the books sold in the Forum’s bookstore help me prepare for my teaching duties. This year, I hope to learn more about counselling, discipleship, and leadership.
I lead Sonship Academy Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd, which involves teaching and mentoring students. Additionally, I am a Steering Committee Member of the Hungarian National Forum.
I have served as the director of a Bible school in Budapest for several years. I have also been involved in a ministry among pastors in Hungary and the Hungarian-speaking part of Romania.
We need help communicating ideas that are still new here in Hungary (like servant leadership) and teaching the Bible wherever people are open to learning about it.
