Sebastian Andrzejczuk is a church elder in Poland.
When did you trust Christ?
You could say that I was born and raised in the church. I gave my life to Jesus at the age of eight at a Christian camp. Then, at age 19, I made a public profession of faith with baptism.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
For years as a believer, I struggled with many problems, and I asked God whether this was what my life was supposed to be like. Then, I received a picture with answers to my struggles. From that moment on, I overcame my barriers, and God is faithful in His Word. It opened my eyes and strengthened my soul.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I am seeking support and guidance in my current role to lead effectively and make a meaningful impact. My goal is to build a healthy and thriving church, and I recognise that personal growth is essential in achieving this. I want to develop my leadership skills, gain new perspectives, and learn from experienced mentors who can help me navigate challenges and opportunities. Having the right people around me to provide wisdom, encouragement, and accountability will be invaluable in my journey. I believe this mentoring program will equip me to serve better and strengthen both myself and the church community in Olsztyn.
What is your ministry?
Since 2022, I have been serving as the chairman of the elders in the church. My primary responsibility is to lead the church by setting the direction in which we are moving. This includes making key decisions, ensuring that our vision aligns with our faith, and guiding the congregation in spiritual growth. I also focus on supporting current leaders in their ministries, helping them thrive in their roles, and developing new ministries to meet the needs of our church community. Lastly, I am also responsible for overseeing the media team and sound system. My goal is to use technology to enhance the worship experience and help spread the message of faith effectively.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
In the past, I was responsible for the church's website and displaying songs during services.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I need the right example in order to grow—an example that is fresh and relevant to our times. Although I have been serving in the church since I was a child, I often don't know how to talk to people outside the church about Christ. Your investment will provide me with the resources and examples I need.
