Saša Nikolinovic
Saša Nikolinović is a pastor, visual artist, and theology student from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Growing up in a communist environment, I was completely unfamiliar with the clear Gospel message, despite my family having some Christian background. I came to know Christ in 1991 through a friend who shared the Gospel with me. I felt drawn to learn more, so I began attending church and received a New Testament. As I read it, I became deeply fascinated by the person and work of Christ and made the decision to follow Him.
A few years after I started following Christ, I was baptised, marking a significant step in my faith journey. Since my baptism, I have been pursuing my ministry calling wholeheartedly.
I want to deepen my knowledge of artistic practice and broaden my creative horizons to grow in my calling as an artist. I hope to build relationships with other artists, exchanging ideas and receiving inspiration in a supportive space where questions can be freely asked, and new concepts and techniques explored. Ultimately, I want to strengthen both my artistic and spiritual journey
I am a pastor and visual artist from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I organise art exhibitions, art workshops, and artist talks at my church. For seven weeks each year, I organise and lead camps for up to 700 children, teenagers, and young adults, about one-third from non-Christian families. The Gospel is shared through biblical teaching, creative workshops, and outdoor adventures. The camps also serve as a platform for discipling young leaders. I am also in the final stage of my theological studies at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia.
I have been serving as a pastor of the Evangelical Church in Sarajevo for several decades. Over time, I took on the leadership of our camp ministry. I have been painting for more than a decade, incorporating my artistic skills in many different ways into the life of the church.
I have participated in ELF for many years. As a pastor and visual artist, I use my artistic skills in ministry in many different ways. I want to broaden my creative horizons and strengthen both my artistic and spiritual journey.
