What is your ministry?

I am the pastor of a church that meets in two locations in Sarajevo. My ministry focuses on preaching, teaching, counseling, building new leaders, and making disciples. In addition, I am involved in a summer camps ministry for our church denomination and one of my country's two major youth conferences. Also, I'm serving as the Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When did you trust Christ?

I became a Christian in 1991 after years of searching and questioning the meaning of life.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

The first defining moment was the first time I went to church. I experienced God's presence, and that changed the direction of my life forever. Being in the army during the war in Bosnia after becoming a believer was a tremendous experience and a true moment of growth for me. My baptism and the call to full-time ministry in 1995 were further defining moments. In 2001, I received the invitation to take over the church's leadership as a pastor.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

The Forum is an oasis where I can find all the needed resources and inspiration for ministry in my country. The Forum helps me maximise the talents God has given me for His glory. I have been participating in the Artist Network for several years. I am very well connected with the group throughout the year, and we collaborate on some projects. Since I am also an artist who uses my gift to reach people through workshops, speeches, and projects, the knowledge and contacts I gain from this network are of immense importance.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I served as an elder of the Sarajevo Evangelical Church from 1995-2001 and served as senior pastor since 2001. I have served as chairman on several boards in our denomination, most notably on the summer camps board, which is one of the most important activities of our denomination. We are doing evangelism and discipleship programs for kids, teenagers, youth, and adults through this ministry. I am also currently the Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance in Bosnia.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

As a result of participating in the Forum, I'm much better connected with leaders from the Balkans, Europe, and the world. Additionally, after participating in the Forum, I always feel encouraged, refreshed, and equipped with fresh tools for reaching people for Christ. Some of these partnerships help me plan and implement joint projects related to the youth ministry. We are planning to organise a big youth festival in 2025.
