What is your ministry?

By God's grace, I participate in the ministries my church organised, such as Gospel outreach, children and youth Christian camps, and mobile medical clinics). During the weekly Sunday services, I serve by translating the service from Russian to Romanian and am part of the singers' group of our church. Periodically, I visit orphanages and a retirement house. I can serve in our Christian Medical Community (medical clinics, medical students, Christian camps, medical seminars, and weekly meetings). I have led a Bible study group with Christian medical students for ten years.

When did you trust Christ?

In 1999, a friend of our family invited me to Sunday school at a Baptist Church in our town. There, I was taught about God, how to pray, and how to read and study the Word of God. On the 9th of July 2005, I was invited with my mother to the "Hope Festival" in Chisinau, Moldova, organised by the Baptist and Pentecostal Unions of Moldova. I heard the Gospel, the Lord changed my heart, and I repented. In 1 year, my mother repented, and in 1 more year, my grandmother repented. On the 7th of July 2007, all our family was baptised by faith, and we became members of the local church.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Being changed by God, I try my best to live the life the Lord wants me to live by the power of Christ. I try to be a faithful Christian, faithful and loving husband, hardworking doctor, and minister of my church and our Christian Medical Society. For ten years, I have wanted to share my faith with my colleagues by leading an Inductive Bible Study group with Christian medical students at our Christian Clinic "Emmanuel". The Lord is good to me, and I want to serve Him as much as possible and love Him because He first loved me.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

In my opinion, I would benefit a lot from this conference because of the biblical material, leadership programs, and tactics of work that would be presented there. This conference could open up new methods and ways to reach the students of my University by the Gospel. I think it would be good for me to exchange the experience of Christian social work with my colleagues from different countries, establish contacts with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and gain some medical experience useful for my future life.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was the leader of the Youth Department of the Christian Medical Society. I led the Inductive Bible Study small group with Christian medical students. I was the Regional Representative of Eastern Europe for the International Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Being an active leader of my church and our Christian Medical Society, this conference would equip me to be more productive in my ministry and my work in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving others. I want to do more for my church, family, town, and the Christian Medical Society I serve with. I hope this Forum will help me to utilise new methods and tools in our ministry.
