I am currently a youth leader at my local church in Rome. We develop creative evangelism in the capital of Rome. We carry out spiritual activities, retreats for young people, and youth meetings at our church premises. We do charity activities for the beggars at the central station, and we plan to do volunteer work to benefit the environment (cleaning public areas) and health (sick children in hospitals).
I accepted Christ when I was 15 years old. I grew up in a Christian family, but it wasn't until I was in college that I reaffirmed my faith in Christ.
Indeed, my father's abandonment was one of the moments that marked my life and, at the same time, helped me grow and mature in faith. Forgiving my father and loving him has been a defining moment in my life. Since then, I have been able to find peace through Jesus.
I want to develop leadership skills, and the atmosphere of a conference of Christian leaders can be inspiring and motivating. Listening to testimonies, sharing experiences, and worshiping together can renew your spirit and passion for ministry. I look forward to the resources and tools (study materials and multimedia resources). Attending ELF can be an enriching experience that benefits my ministry, providing spiritual growth, skill development, meaningful connections, and practical resources.
I have been a children's teacher in a church in Peru, Latin America, for five years. Then, I was a youth leader in the university biblical community of Peru – International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES).
Rome is a city that needs the gospel to be shared now more than ever. It needs prepared and well-rounded young people who can go against what the world offers. That is why this year, I began to study theology. Also, my commitment to the church of Christ and to serve young people is very significant. I long to see in them a passion for Christ and a desire to discern the scriptures. Together, let's bring the good news to our city.
