Rasha Saba

Rasha Saba is the Director of the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel.
I was born into a Christian family and embraced my faith at six. From my earliest recollection, I sensed a calling to follow Christ and dedicate myself to serving Him. I commenced my service at a young age, and as I matured in my spiritual journey, I found that God entrusted me with increasingly significant responsibilities. Throughout this journey, I have walked a path of getting to know God more intimately, following Him with dedication, and continually seeking a deeper understanding of His ways.
Leading diverse ministries and collaborating globally has shaped my understanding of servant leadership. Encouragement and recognition from influential figures steered me toward teaching, leadership, and service roles that align with my gifts. A transformative aspect of my journey involves leading a joint ministry uniting Jews and Arabs amid historical conflicts. Navigating complexities required a commitment to being a bridge for peace. Reconciliation became a lived-out reality, transcending societal divisions, and the shared commitment to Christ fostered unity. Addressing wounds required delicate efforts, with moments of reconciliation underscoring the transformative potential of Christ's redemptive work. This calling embodies the principles of Christ, serving as a bridge for healing and unity amid longstanding tensions.
I hope to receive additional training opportunities, network with influential leaders for shared learning, and engage with a supportive community. This will expose me to fresh ideas and innovative approaches, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of my ministry.
I lead the Fellowship of Christian Student Ministry in Israel, a ministry that serves Messianic Jews, Christian Arabs, and internationals. I am on two boards: The Convention of the Arab Evangelical Churches in Israel and the Nazareth Center for Peace Studies.
I have been involved in church and parachurch ministries. In the church context, I served as a youth leader for several years, in worship, and in a pastoring role with my husband. I also help in family ministries as a certified counsellor. In the parachurch context, I have served for many years with students, training leaders, discipling, teaching, and equipping students for evangelism and leadership roles.
I am humbled by the recognition and acceptance I've received among the evangelical community, the leaders in general, and young adults in particular. I have an influential role in leading a student ministry and investing in the lives of young leaders who are the future pillars of the Church. Investing in my training and ministry would further develop my skills in leading and training others, ultimately fostering growth within the evangelical church.
