Rani Saba

Rani Saba is an Arab Israeli pastor and the General Director of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel.
I was born into a Christian family that attended church and was involved in ministry. I accepted the Lord as a young teenager, but at 16, I began to follow Him sincerely.
At 16, I served in VBS in Israel. A year later, I initiated a youth meeting in my church and served as team leader. At university, I joined the Fellowship of Christian Students in Israel (IFES). I met regularly with a mentor and attended FCSI trainings, leading me to study the Bible more deeply. I joined the board of the Convention of Evangelical Churches in Israel, giving me a bigger perspective. Working on my Master’s in Ministry and serving as a pastor have greatly impacted my ministry.
I hope to enhance my skills and gain knowledge needed for my ministry. I also hope to find new ministry partners. I am hoping to expand my ministry to grow the church. Spiritually, I will be encouraged and blessed by the good teaching.
I am the General Director of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, planning strategies to help ABC achieve its goals. I build the yearly budget and am responsible for fundraising and finding ministry partners. Since January 2022, I have pastored a Baptist church, preaching and teaching, leading ministry coordinators, and leading worship as needed.
I have served on various boards since 2004. I was pastor and elder at the Yaffa Baptist Church from 2018 through 2021, and prior to that an elder at the Baptist church in Nazareth, 2011 through 2016. I was Camp Director for the Potter’s Wheel from 2009 to 2016. I served as Youth Ministry Coordinator both at the Baptist church in Nazareth from 2005 through 2009, and with the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, 2003 through 2007. I was Music Ministry Coordinator at the Baptist church in Nazareth from 2003 to 2005.
We are building God’s kingdom in Israel by empowering church leaders and expanding churches. Our various ministries impact not only the church but the whole society. As Israeli Arabs, we are in a unique position to serve as peacemakers. We are working on a relief project for Gaza and Israel.
