What is your ministry?
I am currently working for the Studiengemeinschaft Wort und Wissen, a scientific non-profit association. The thematic focus of its work is basic research and educational work in the field of tension between "natural science and Christian faith". In particular, questions concerning the origin of life (creation/evolution) and the course of biblically relevant historical events play a role.
When did you trust Christ?
He came to me and showed me He is the way, the truth, and the life.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
The defining moments have revolved around my studies in molecular biology, the death of my sister, and my wife Lisa.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I want to network, make new friends, and learn from others.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I wrote extensively on apologetics in the area of biology: Papers, books, and I regularly do presentations to show how God created — not through evolution but through His Word.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
Someone should invest in my ministry because the Bible supports creation, not evolution.
