What is your ministry?

I manage art events (evangelistic and church development targets) in Bethel Church and at Christian festivals, aiming to reach the younger generation for Christ. Also, I have art exhibitions with Christian artists. I also do art workshops in churches, camps, and schools for kids and teens.

When did you trust Christ?

I accepted Christ in 1993. I was a student and invited to a Bible study group where I understood the Gospel, which led me to Jesus.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

In my childhood, my mom (an Orthodox believer) impacted me with her fear of God and Christian practices, like prayer and caring for the poor. Later, as a pupil in art school, I realised that most European art has a Christian signature, where Jesus is the central figure. At the same time, my art history teacher, a respected one, shared with us that Jesus was a real, historical person. When I moved to Romania, I attended an Orthodox church but ended up in a Bible Study Group led by a Baptist pastor. I grew in understanding the Bible and genuine faith, and I decided to personally follow Jesus when I was 23. The pastor and that Baptist church was the nest where I took my first steps in walking with God. I became part of a mixed group of Christian artists and other students, and we shared in weekly fellowship. Then, I attended Christian European art conferences where I connected with common-field Christians. Later, getting married and raising three children continued to mold my character.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

Attending to Forum will benefit me by helping me connect with an extensive range of colleagues’ approaches to serving, get in contact with updated ideas of the European Christian community for reaching our community for Christ, and get encouraged and energised by other brothers and sisters.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was leading Christian art events along with colleagues. I led church design and image settings in two churches, which I still do for Bethel Church. Also, I organised Christian art exhibitions in my country and abroad. Also, I was involved in significant Christian events and festivals with group and personal performances. I was invited to schools and high schools to lead art workshops.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I hope other believers would support this as they see the significance of reaching others through art, which I use as a communication bridge between Christians and non-Christians. This was the content of many people’s testimonies in getting touched by the Christian message. For instance, in my workshops, I have participants experientially get involved. Then, they become more receptive to the message, have questions, and get interested in Christian topics and meanings.
