What is your ministry?
I am focusing mainly on helping to establish and lead a Czech Christian foundation named the 3W Foundation. My responsibility is to work with the founders/families (in a pastoral role), with the team in operations and grant-giving activities (managerial role), and with the assets that need to be invested (financial role). Previously, I was very involved in the church, used to be a bank manager, and led projects in Christian nonprofit organisations. It feels like I was prepared for the role I am in at the moment. As it is a demanding job, I could not imagine having any leadership role in the church.
When did you trust Christ?
When I was 22, while studying at university, I started to read the New Testament. After reading the whole thing, I was prompted to respond to the Word of God, as I sensed the love of Jesus and my need for forgiveness. I prayed alone in my room. After that experience, I attended the Evangelical church in Hodslavice, Czech Republic.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
Some defining moments have included Becoming a Christian at the age of 22 and being filled with the Holy Spirit afterward, starting to serve the church (youth pastor, elder, etc.), staying one year in the UK, and beginning to be involved in the 24/7 prayer movement, getting married and having children (especially one with a genetic disorder), helping to start YFC in the Czech Republic, and studying theology (TCMI, Vienna).
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I look forward to meeting other ministry leaders and sharing our pains and joys. We could develop these contacts in the foundation. It could also give me a better understanding of what God is doing through Evangelicals in different parts of Europe.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
In the church, I used to be a youth pastor and elder. I used to preach quite regularly. I was also a board member of YFC Czech and YFC Immanuel Center. Currently, I serve mainly as Executive Director of the 3W Foundation.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
My profile is unique. I do not expect many individuals to consider investments, but people interested in philanthropy, grant-making, capacity building, or driven investments could be intrigued.
