I am a Belarusian refugee, serving as a youth leader in Poland. I am working with young people from 15 to 30. Every week on Sunday we have youth ministry where we pray, worship, and read the Bible. We try to invite students and other people who don’t visit the church. We understand that is the most important thing in our ministry. Also, I help in other ministries.
I was 14 years old and I was reading the Bible. I was reading a story Jesus told to people. I knew then that I was a sinner. My life did not change at once, but I started looking for Jesus.
My father influenced me throughout my life. His example helped me to be more powerful and hard-working in following Jesus.
I hope the Forum gives me new knowledge and motivation in my ministry. There are a lot of moments when we don't know or don't want to do something for Jesus, and I think that is an excellent opportunity to reset and start doing more than before.
I have been the leader of a small group for five years. A group of people meets once a week to have time for fellowship and practice with the ‘one-anothers.’
I think I can be a leader and have to use it for my ministry. So this Forum could improve my skills to achieve something better in working with youth.
