Onisim Pînzariu

Onisim Pinzariu serves as a worship leader and in his church's outreach and missions department in Romania.
I was raised in a Pentecostal household and personally met Jesus at the age of 16. I gave my life to Jesus at a youth event during summer vacation.
My faith really skyrocketed when I was baptised in water. I had to let go of my own control and trust God. Later, while searching for God's will for my life, I heard Him speak to me about missions and evangelism. I decided to trust Him and go into ministry. The two years at mission school shaped me as a Christian. From the beginning of our marriage, my wife and I have put God at the centre of our lives. I depend on God as I perform my various duties at our local church.
My wife and I are preparing to become missionaries, so I am mainly interested in the Evangelism Network. I expect to learn from experienced people who serve God in different contexts and backgrounds. I look forward to learning new tools and ideas as I approach this ministry.
In the church I attend, I am a praise and worship leader responsible for about 20 team members. I also serve in the church's outreach and missions department, where I am involved in organising mission conferences and services. I preach and teach on the topic of missions. I am also a volunteer for the National Pentecostal Missions Agency (APME) in Romania, being part of the core team responsible for organising summer camps for young people interested in missions. I also try to mobilise the national church to missions through courses and conferences we organise throughout the year.
I used to serve and lead a Sunday school class and help my father lead the youth ministry.
I am still a student and do not earn a lot of money. I would love to participate in this year’s Forum, but I cannot afford the full price. I am eager to serve God and people by dedicating myself to full-time ministry. I think taking part in the Forum will help me towards this goal.
