Oleksandr Kulahin

Oleksandr Kulahin serves as a deacon and administrator of a child development centre in Poland.
I trusted Christ in my early years, but my faith became truly personal and transformative during my teenage years. Growing up in a Christian environment, I knew about God, but there was a moment when I encountered Him in a real way—when I fully surrendered my life to Jesus. From that point on, my faith became the foundation of my life, leading me to actively serve in ministry.
Several moments have shaped my Christian journey. Serving as a youth leader for about five years was a crucial season of growth, where I learned to disciple young people, preach, and lead a team. Stepping into a leadership role in my church gave me a deeper understanding of responsibility, servant leadership, and pastoral care. Leading a ministry has given me a heart for social justice and holistic ministry. Studying theology, leadership, and missions in an urban context equipped me with a stronger biblical foundation and a vision for ministry in the modern world. Lastly, moments of difficulty, whether in leadership, personal faith, or navigating church dynamics, have strengthened my trust in God and refined my calling.
Attending the European Leadership Forum will be a crucial opportunity for me to grow as a leader and equip myself for more effective ministry. Specifically, I expect to gain deeper theological and leadership insights, expand my network, be equipped for social and youth ministry, and to strengthen my vision for the future. I believe this experience will not only benefit my personal growth but will also have a lasting impact on my local church and the people I serve.
I serve as a deacon and administrator of a child and adolescent development centre within our Pentecostal church, Slowo Wiary Lodz. This involves leading a social ministry that supports 200 families in need. Additionally, I lead a dedicated team of 20 young people who work together to minister to both children and youth in our community. My focus is on empowering the next generation, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering personal development through a Christ-centred approach. This role has deepened my experience in leadership, mentorship, and community service, all driven by a strong commitment to faith and service.
Previously, I was the leader of a teen-focused ministry for five years where I led a team, organised events, preached, and discipled young people.
