I'm working as president of the ESPA Foundation, which serves to foster families in Poland and provides humanitarian aid in Poland and other countries. I'm leading a team of 25 workers and about 100 volunteers who work with us.
It was in 1994. While on vacation, I heard the gospel from one of my friends. He talked about God and faith in Jesus. I thought then that it was not the right moment for me yet, I was young and it seemed to me that I would have to leave many things from my old life and agree to follow Jesus. Shortly after that, I had an accident after which I realised that my life was fragile and this event made me surrender my life to God.
One of the key things that contributed to my growth in faith was Bible school. I spent a year there, learning and growing in faith. It was also a period of strong development of my character. It has changed my Christian life so far.
I would like to learn from other leaders how to serve God and people better. I'm not attending many places where I can learn from others. It will be also a chance to get to know other leaders from Poland and other countries.
I used to be a youth pastor in the church. I was also an elder in my church for 6 years. For 15 years, I managed different companies.
I'm supporting people in need. Thousands of people can receive help through my ministry and the ministry of my organisation. Sometimes I also need help to be more equipped to serve others. I believe investing in my growth is investing in the many people to whom I serve.
