Natia Chkhaidze

Natia Chkhaidze volunteers with orphans and under-served youth through Equip Youth in Georgia.
I accepted Christ as my Saviour in 1997 when I was in Germany.
Many missionaries and the faith of my Christian husband have impacted me. Additionally, a key defining moment was when I experienced a miracle when God healed me from sickness.
I long to be renewed in knowledge and spirit. I look forward to learning leadership skills that I can use to help raise young Christian leaders. Lastly, I look forward to meeting other Christian leaders who have a heart for youth.
I work with children, teens, and youth by visiting orphanages and day centres. These groups are under-served, but I work to equip them with life skills and help them to grow spiritually by dwelling in Christ. I also try to impact youth in the Muslim region by helping with day camps in the summer and praying for them to accept Jesus as their Saviour. The youth I serve come from non-Christian homes, and I hope that the youth who accept Christ will proclaim Him to their families.
I have been a Sunday-school leader and worked in a Christian camp organising youth ministry helpers.
I have volunteered in youth ministries for many years and know that if God wants me to attend this Forum, He will provide. Often, I have been tired and disappointed and have thought about giving up. Yet, God always shows up, supports, and strengthens me. This is how I know that God has called me to youth ministry. I know I would learn a lot by being around other people who minister to the youth.
