What is your ministry?

I have been a counsellor and a leader in women's ministry. My heart is for the counselling ministry, as I have plenty of opportunities to counsel both at my workplace and at the church of God. Many of my counselees come from different towns or even from abroad.

When did you trust Christ?

I decided to trust and follow Jesus at 18 while still attending college. I am very blessed to have been born into a Christian family.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I attended a women's conference in 2008, and the main speaker was author Linda Dillow, which significantly influenced me, as I felt a strong call to become involved in women's ministry. In 2012, I was invited to attend the disciple-making courses of Priscilla School organised by Bible Education of Extension Romania and, in 2013, some counselling courses organised by the Association of Christian Counselors. I grew spiritually by taking these courses. I want to improve my counselling skills, as there is a real need for counselling in the local churches in Romania.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

It has been many years since my last participation. I long for a fruitful experience and would like to get a restart and refresh my knowledge and experience in my ministry.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

My leadership role was and still is to work with Christian women. I am thrilled that non-Christian women have also attended our group activities this year.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

The main reason why people may want to invest in me is that they know Romania has a real need for counselling! Although there is little activity in counselling, it is primarily due to a lack of trained people. There is much to be done in the local churches, and many do not offer counselling. I firmly believe people will understand the urgency of training passionate people to do God's work.
