Mateusz Niedzialkowski
I gave my life to Jesus in 2009. It was after one of the many meetings of a small Bible study group I attended for a year or more. Our pastor led small church groups and met with many people. For a long time, I believed that I had to change my life through my strength, and only then would I be worthy to invite Him into my life. During one of the meetings, my pastor encouraged me not to wait but to try to make these changes with Jesus, allowing Him to enter my life. After the meeting at home, I prayerfully invited Jesus to come into my life as it is. The next day was the happiest day of my life. I was filled with joy beyond description and knew God had forgiven me of my sins.
The primary growth was provided by the pastor, who led the group with me and the other 4 participants for over two years. It was a time of continuous development. In the next stage of my life, I met a second pastor who was willing to devote time to meet for another two years to study the Word of God. I can say that this second pastor, unlike the first one, was both a mentor and a teacher.
I hope it will allow me to gain skills to multiply the number of people I can serve even more effectively. In YRM, I want to learn how to lead others in discipleship and be a leader who creates leaders.
I lead a small discipleship group where we can grow in our knowledge of God's word with other church members. I am a church council member, and this is my third five-year term. I also lead the Sunday and prayer services and preach once a month. I have also been a member of the Gideonite Association for several years.
For several years, I organised an evangelisation course called "ALPHA." For 5 years in a row, I also coordinated the organisation of a 5-day semi-camp for children from the city. Several hundred children have passed through this ministry over the years. I also organized an evangelistic event called "Labyrinth" for several years.
My ministry is mainly focused on the city where I live. There are tasks both inside the community and outside, aimed at the people living in my town. It has always been important to me that the local community of believers is a place that has something to offer to the city in which it is located, so for many years, I have been passionately involved in various activities in our community to bring people closer to Christ.
