I work as a coordinator of volunteers for a non-profit organisation that supports men addicted to pornography, called NePornu. I coordinate two areas. First, I support anonymous pornaholic groups, helping porn-addicted people support each other in small communities. In addition, I speak about pornography in schools. I am also working with clients by email and leading one online support pornaholics anonymous group.
I was born to a Christian family and decided to follow Jesus in my childhood. I was baptized at twelve years old. I fell into a deep depression during adolescence, but God rescued me from that. After I started to trust God again, I decided to follow Jesus in my life, which stands until now.
As I mentioned in previous sentences -depression greatly affected my life. I lived like that for almost one year, which completely destroyed my previous thinking system. But on the other hand, I learned a lot about God and people. This period completely changed my understanding and gave me another chance to live.
I expect to gain new experience and knowledge, get new ideas and thoughts, and learn more about what God wants me to do in this case and others. After attending last year, I experienced a change of mindset. I was demotivated, and I did not know what to do. At the Forum, I was encouraged, and I found a mentor who is helping me develop my ministry and search for answers to my questions in ministry and life.
I have led a bible study group by UKH (IFES in the Czech Republic) at the University. Also, I am a youth leader in my church.
Our ministry does something that no one else is doing in our country. It has enormous potential; to preach the Gospel and help many people change their lives.
