What is your ministry?

Some other people and I built a team in Krakow as part of Steiger's mission. A city team's vision is to get to know the youth scene, to find out how to communicate the Gospel with those people, to build relationships with them, and to have an impact on the young people eventually. Also, I lead a Bible Study group for non-religious people. This group is for all non-Christian friends of ours, for people from the outreaches, and for newcomers in the Church. The central part of what I do is reach the techno scene culture in my city and build friendships with people there. I spend nights with them there, talk to them, listen to their stories, share the Gospel, and pray for them.

When did you trust Christ?

My decision to follow Jesus happened in my early years. I was raised in a Christian family, but my journey with Jesus began when I moved from Ukraine to Poland and started living alone. That's when I realised it was no longer about the faith of my parents but mine.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

One book, in particular, impacted how I see Christianity and missionary life. It taught me that I can be a missionary in my town and that serving God doesn't have to be within a church. Another book had an impact on my prayer. Since reading it,  I've started building my prayer culture, which was one of the first moments I heard God speaking to me. Another moment was attending the Awakening Europe Conference in Vienna. I met one of the leaders from Steiger there, and since then, we have become very close friends. He has helped me grow a lot. Since then, I have seen how He has been planning my future ministry.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

Attending the European Leadership Forum will give me the knowledge I need to serve the people God has brought into my life even better than I do now. Through my leadership, I want people to grow in their calling, discover their God-given potential, and get close to God. I want to learn how to activate people or share my vision and heart and invest in those people so that they see the value in what they do.

For Year-Round Mentoring, my personal expectation is to learn how to apply the Bible in my daily life and how to grow and become mature in a practical way. I want to learn how to choose and invite others on this journey where Christian people grow and develop in their daily lives, facing their normal daily situations.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I've been part of a few different teams. I led the Alpha and Bible Study groups in my church. At some companies I worked for, I mentored new employees. At Steiger, I led an Outreach Team for Poland. Currently, I lead a Steiger team in my city.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I think it is because what I do now is God's purpose for Krakow. I have a big vision, but God has never meant it for me to carry alone. I need people who support me and grow in this ministry so that if I am absent, the ministry will not stop but will be continued by others.
