I have been leading a shelter for abused women since 2019. We provide shelter for women with and without children who come out of difficult situations - some come from the street, many out of abusive relationships, and others out of psychiatric hospitals. In our shelter, they can start a more stable life to continue their new and healthier lives without us.
When I was 18, I recommitted my life to Jesus; I originally did it as a young child. One day, I felt Him speaking to me. I cried, knelt by my bed, and prayed alone.
I grew up in a Christian community with many people from all over the world. During my teenage years, I had a lot of questions about faith and already a lot of responsibility. I moved out of my home when I was 18 years old because I wanted freedom, then I had to find my faith. As an adult, I had many situations I never expected. For example, I worked in Bolivia with missionaries, and there I was on a boat trip where a missionary died; that was very special and moving for me.
I hope to get more security and more ability to listen to the Holy Spirit.
I co-led a teenage group for around 11 years. I led and co-led several Community Bible Study groups, where I read the bible with women.
We should care for each other; if one part of the body is sick, the whole body is in pain.
