Lukas Brosbol-Legarth
Lukas Brosbol-Legarth is a theology student in Denmark.
I gave my life to Christ when I was 18 as a result of deep personal affliction. I was raised in a conservative Christian household, but until I turned 18, it was never personal to me. I asked Jesus to reveal Himself to me, and He did just that. A few months after my first genuine prayer, He sent a preacher I felt preached directly to me. After that, I repented of my sins. I have trusted Him ever since, and He is my greatest source of joy.
Volunteering with the Danish Lutheran Mission for nine months from 2020-2021 in Tanzania impacted me. While there, I helped distribute Christian literature to the needy. Attending Bible school and Bible seminary was also defining for my faith.
ELF has given me some of the most insightful conversations about Christian leadership, preaching, and teaching. I was truly blessed by the plenaries as well. At ELF, I am like a sponge absorbing so many great experiences from older leaders and fellow participants.
Currently, my main focus is my studies as a theology student. My studies equip me for my part-time volunteer role as a preacher in different churches and congregations. They also equip me to be a Christian leader inside the church and/or congregation.
I have worked with youth, both voluntarily and in a paid position. I have been a youth group leader and had preaching responsibilities as the secretary for my Bible seminary.
I am only 25 years old and live in Copenhagen, which is exposed to different kinds of secularism. You should invest in me because, more than anything, I aspire to be a voice of the truth for Jesus Christ in my capital.
