What is your ministry?

I am a children's ministry leader in my church. We have three groups of kids and twelve teachers. I make sure every group has a plan for the lesson. I also handle the logistics, keeping a close relationship with teachers and parents. I am also a copywriter, ensuring we communicate simply, correctly, and clearly in all our blog posts and newsletters.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Christian family, so I learned about Jesus from a young age and went to church every week. I dedicated my life to Jesus during a summer camp, knowing that He wants all of me to be saved from my sins and transform and sanctify me. Being part of a teenage ministry opened my understanding of the Gospel, which is not just the grace that saves me but is the good news for every day of my life.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

Summer camps were always contexts of growing. I learned the idea of "grace" during a summer camp when we studied Philip Yancey's What's So Amazing About Grace? I was blessed with two elder brothers and leaders in our ministry who challenged me with good books and opportunities to understand and develop my gifts. I have also experienced many ups and downs since starting a church 14 years ago.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I was encouraged to be surrounded by people who love and serve God all over Europe. The examples of meetings and discussions I had impacted me profoundly, not just for my ministry but also personally. Lessons I've learned about surrender, God's will, and He is The Lord in control of everything are still fresh, and I have opportunities to apply them. We started to pray more strategically with the children, teaching them to learn how to pray for each other and the church. We write the prayers, follow them throughout the year, and notice when and how God responds. Also, I developed a new set of lessons on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was a missional community leader for many years, planning, caring for the people, setting goals, and focusing on discipleship and missional identity. I was an event planner, which meant I was responsible for the significant events in our church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I love my church and am always dedicated to using my gifts to bless people. New churches, ministries, and people who follow Jesus challenge me. Learning from others gives me a new perspective on my ministry.
