Lacrimiora Flore
I was born and raised in a Baptist family in a village in Romania. My family was Baptist, my two parents and my two older siblings, a sister and a brother. I was 15 at the time. Usually, I would spend time with my sister talking about God, but I was not convinced. One summer, I was at the yearly musical camp, and at the end of the camp, the preacher talked about God and how Jesus died for our sins. The preacher spoke from Luke—16 Verses 19 to 26. I was ready, and I committed my life to following Jesus.
I hope to gain knowledge and encouragement, a community, and be mentored for my calling. At the same time, I hope that after a year of mentorship, I will be able to:- teach the Bible to the teacher group;- join the community;- develop the skills I am lacking at the moment in regards to teaching and leadership;- learn how to build long-lasting relationships;- find people with similar callings and learn from their valuable experience, interact with them.- I want to learn about God, myself, and my relationship with God while strengthening my relationship with God.
My current ministry serves as a Sunday school coordinator of the local church where I am involved. I am responsible for organizing the yearly plan for the Sunday school classes, recruiting teachers for our four classes, leading the teachers during the year, organizing meetings, youth camps, teaching the children, etc.
My leadership role implies helping the teachers throughout the school year, helping them to stay spiritually connected to the serving we are doing, united with each other, and biblically anchored, for us to be able to teach the children accurate information and to show them God's love for us.
