Khatuna Liluashvili is a board member of Youth for Christ Georgia, living in the Netherlands.

When did you trust Christ?

I accepted Christ when I was a teenager.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

There are many. My prayer life and time spent in God's Word have significantly impacted my faith.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

The Forum is amazing! It encourages and gives birth to new ideas, and it builds very interesting and sometimes indirect networks. It is such an encouragement and nourishment for the soul and the spirit. I've connected our ministry with several organisations and raised awareness not only about our ministry but the spiritual situation in Georgia. There have been some discussions of connecting more groups with Forum leaders and speakers, especially the students. It is such an encouragement to go! I also enjoyed learning more from great experts, networking, connecting with other Christians, and learning about their struggles and joys. I'd love to come and connect with the people I've met before and make new friends. It is such an encouragement to see what God is doing in Europe.

What is your ministry?

I am on the board of Youth for Christ Georgia and am very happy to have this organisation in my country that works for the upcoming generation. My role is to support the director, brainstorm ideas for our new projects, and as I am currently in the Netherlands, to build a network of people and organisations that will contribute to our ministry in my home country.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I have led a student Bible study group, been an active member of IFES Georgia, participated in organising student conferences and camps, organised a monthly get-together for Ukrainian seniors, and organised a weekly sport—mainly football—for Ukrainian kids.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

This is a complicated and personal question. The world needs more Christian leaders and Christians who live their faith and share their knowledge, love, and wisdom with the rest of the world. I strive to be such a person, and I think it is a privilege to carry that light.
