Khatuna Liluashvili
I translate Scripture into modern Georgian, lead a small group, organise a monthly get-together for church members in a relaxed setting, and I am on the board of Youth for Christ in Georgia.
I accepted Christ when I was a teenager.
There are many. My prayer life and time spent in God's Word have significantly impacted my faith.
At the 2023 Forum, I met Football Ambassadors representatives; they organise evangelism summer football camps worldwide. After several meetings and discussions (after the Forum and during the Forum), we devised a plan: to organise football camps next year (2024) in Georgia. And this year, several volunteers joined the Football Ambassadors camps in August to be trained in Europe. We are delighted with this development and are looking forward to the camps. I also made new friends at the Forum and enjoyed learning more from great experts, networking, connecting with other Christians, and learning about their struggles and joys. It would be wonderful to reconnect again with my friends, to find new opportunities for our organisation to expand and attract more children, to learn and worship, get excited and energised about how God is working in Europe.
I have led a student Bible study group, was an active member of IFES Georgia, participated in organising student conferences and camps, organised a monthly get-together for Ukrainian seniors, and organised a weekly sport, mainly football, for Ukrainian kids, mostly boys.
The world needs more Christian leaders and Christians who live their faith and share their knowledge, love, and wisdom with the rest of the world. I strive to be such a person, and I think it is a privilege to carry that light.
