What is your ministry?

At the moment, I am the leader of the Minsk IFES team. As part of the IFES, we organise Bible studies for non-believing students, evangelistic events aimed at students, discipleship with students, and prayers at universities. I also serve in my church in teen ministry. We organise camps and meetings for the teenagers of our church.

When did you trust Christ?

From the age of 9, I went to Christian camps where the Gospel was shared. As if there was no doubt about the existence of God, there were doubts that this would change something in life. At the age of 15, I realised that I lived a double life in that I could not be a full-fledged part of the modern world because of all that was invested in me, but I was also not part of a church. So, at the age of 15, in a Christian camp, I decided to follow Christ.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I grew up in a non-believing family, so going to church was critical. There, my growth in faith began. I was baptised there. The following vital point was that I became a student and was able to join IFES; thanks to the Bible studies, I saw Christianity and God from the other side. Further, the most critical point in my life was the political events in Belarus in 2020, where it was necessary to rethink the role of the church in society, ask a lot of questions, and look for answers to them.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I want to attend because it will allow me to learn from and with others involved in similar efforts. It is an excellent opportunity to get a deeper understanding and expertise in a particular area of Christian service—an opportunity to connect with professionals who live out their beliefs in their respective professional environments.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

Previously, I went to help in children's and family camps organised by our church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I serve young people—initially, teenagers who become students. Students are the people who have the greatest number of social contacts in their lives. Students inspired by the Gospel can share it with many people. Also, students can become influential people, and building on the proper foundation can spread the Gospel. But to begin with, teenagers need to find Christ to get this foundation.
