Karolina Krysiak
I am the leader of evangelism. My role is to organise evangelism events, encourage the church to be involved in those events, and equip the church with all we need to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We co-operate with other ministers and attend significant open-air Gospel events as a church. My role also focuses on good communication with other ministries to build something together in unity.
When I was 17, I had an immense faith crisis. As a Catholic, I was disappointed about my spiritual life, which had no "spirit" in it. That led me to atheism. Fortunately, it didn't last long. After some time, I asked my high school friend (she was reading the Bible in school!) to tell me something about the real Jesus. And that is how it all began.
I think the tipping point of my relationship with Jesus was in the middle of my other immense (the biggest) faith crisis, which was strongly affected by an episode of depression. My friend led me to the Word, which ultimately changed my life and how I see God now. I was freed from expectations, entitlement, disappointment, and much more.
I always want to improve my communication skills. I hope to improve my confidence. This will help me make more significant steps in what God calls me to do.
I was the leader of the prayer group in the church; I was responsible for prayer meetings and encouraging the church to stay active in prayer life.
My growth in the last two years has been exponential. Just two years ago, I was barely walking, but now it feels like I am running. I am humble and ready to hear what wise and experienced people would like to tell me. I am called to live in and build the body of Christ, not my castle. Together, we can do more for the Kingdom than as individuals.
