Jakub Pietrzak is a media leader with Way of Life Ministries in Poland.
When did you trust Christ?
I was raised in a Christian family. Both of my parents have been in ministry for almost 20 years now. Around the age of 4, I prayed and committed my life to Christ.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
One of the major defining moments was going to Hillsong Leadership College in 2019, where I studied both film and theology. The whole experience taught me so much about my own faith and how God is the One and only thing I want to follow. It was truly a life-altering experience.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I attended in 2024; this year, I will focus on networking more with the organisations from the expo, trying to realise an opportunity for cooperation. Also the value of the media network was exceptional. The people and the conversations I had were precious.
What is your ministry?
This year, I have started my ministry with video. I help Christian organisations create films to promote their ministries and help to raise awareness and support for what they do. I have been involved with several ministries across Europe and Africa this year.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
From 2010-2018, I was involved in worship as a drummer and in social media, capturing photos and making short videos for the church. From 2019-2020, I was a part of Hillsong Church in Sydney. I was one of the team leaders in the Creative Hub department, every week creating video content for the church and college. In 2021, I was on staff in One Life Church in Mudgee, NSW as a video content creator and was responsible for online church during Covid lockdowns in 2023. I was playing drums in my home church and leading media creation.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
My ministry and what I'm doing brings fruit and helps organisations grow exponentially. In the world today, we need to use and make professional-grade content on social media.
