What is your ministry?

I currently work with children and young adults with special needs and train volunteers. We have several events throughout the year where we meet with volunteers. Also, we are constantly in touch with them, trying to go with them through their life events and support them.

When did you trust Christ?

Ever since childhood, I believed God existed; I wasn't sure how to connect with Him. When I was 14, my mother and sister started attending church invited by a family member. When I first went, it felt like I was finally getting the answers to all my questions for years! It all made sense, and I was ready to give my life to Jesus.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

After graduating from college, I applied for an international program. I was given the opportunity to spend one year in the USA (August 2010- July 2011), living with a Christian family and working in a Christian school. It was terrific, and I believe I grew a lot that year. But coming back was when my faith was tested. I struggled for a few years, trying to find good spiritual support. Joining Hannah's Hope team made a big difference (five years ago).

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I heard only fantastic things about this conference. I am aware of how little I know and how much I need to learn if I want to lead others in this ministry, but also how to stay close to God while doing it. I believe it is essential to meet others and share experiences to grow.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

Growing up in church (from when I was 14 until I was 25), I taught in Sunday School in different churches (as I was moving from my hometown to Belgrade and then to Novi Sad and was always involved in this ministry). I went from assistant teacher to lead teacher. Also, at Hanah's Hope, I was their volunteer for years, and then I became one of the leaders, training others how to work and serve these children and families.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I like to do things the right way, but I often don't know how that looks. God's been teaching me to stay humble by showing me how little I know. I've been investing in myself a lot, but I've realised that all my work and wisdom is nothing without Him and His leading. I need and want help finding his will for my life.
