What is your ministry?

Now, I am a camp director at Word of Life Hungary. I started last November. We had a few conferences already with volunteers and "quiet days" at schools where I led the kids' games or led small group conversations. We are preparing for the summer camp, where we expect 1000 kids in total.

When did you trust Christ?

I accepted Christ at a reformed church service in 1997. I was struggling a lot with honesty to myself and towards God. I prayed the sinner's prayer many times. When nothing happened, I thought that God was rejecting me. But at that service, I finally understood that my sins were mine; I committed them, so they were personal. I listed all my sins to God and asked for forgiveness. He forgave me and gave me eternal life. His unconditional love was an attribute that I found very unique and precious for me.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I try to surround myself with mature Christians from whom I can learn more. God has shown me that every page of the Bible, sermon, and command He gave is for me to know God in person. He wants to have a personal relationship with me. I must dedicate time to him daily to meditate on His Word.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to contact more mature Christians with more experience, possibly in the same field, and brainstorm new ideas and encouragement.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was leading Sunday school for five years. I had to set up a system for the church with the curriculum of what to teach the kids and how to separate them by age. It was challenging as few people wanted to join the ministry, as it was a smaller church. I also led church camps many times with volunteers, which was working fine. It was a great experience. The team was fantastic, humble, and willing to do whatever it took, so it was gratifying.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Since the youth ministry is an essential part of the whole body of Christ, being well-prepared, trained, humble, honest, and open is crucial. Also, God is doing work in WOL Hungary as many kids decide to give their lives to Christ every camping week. Last year, we had over 150 kids who indicated to us that they had made a life-changing decision.
