Igor Buben
Igor Buben is a pastor of a Ukranian church in Poland.
I was born into a family of believers. But I committed my life to God in 2015 in Warsaw. God spoke to me in an extraordinary way.
The Holy Spirit's promptings and convictions have been my most significant moments.
This is the best Christian leadership Forum I have ever attended. It has helped me improve my ministry and my personal relationship with God. Since I am a young leader, I always need the advice of more experienced people, and I am also looking forward to meeting new, interesting people. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet new people who I know will become friends and partners in the ministry.
For six years I have been a missionary pastor of the God's Light Church in Lublin. The main focus of my work is the younger generation and students, and we work a lot with Ukrainians, as I was born in Ukraine and lived there until I was 18. Our church is the only fully functioning Ukrainian-language church in Lublin. We are also opening churches in other cities in Poland.
Before my current position, I was a youth leader and missionary in Lublin, Poland.
Over the past year, our church has quadrupled in size. I have met new challenges. I think I was not prepared for many things. That's why I need the leadership support and training I can get at the Forum. I long to be enriched with knowledge and faith and motivated to continue in my ministry, reaching people with the Gospel of Christ.
