Helena Mrázková

Helena Mrázková is a teacher and disciple-maker in the Czech Republic.
I'm a pastor's daughter, and I decided to trust Christ when I was 16. I had been influenced by a non-Christian community I belonged to, which I had loved, and the church mission children's club where I served. However, I decided to follow the way of God's Kingdom because it meant safety and sureness forever.
The most defining moment of my faith was planting a new Free Evangelical church in Ostrava with a team led by my husband (starting in 2015). Additionally, I have felt the personal presence of God's love through serving in the Christian scout movement since 2022.
At the Forum, I hope to improve the practical skills needed for my role as operations manager. I would like to learn how to lead a small team with a very large agenda effectively, as well as the specifics of church volunteer management versus employee management.
I am a member of the Dorostová Unie team, a national interdenominational ministry for ages 4-15 and leaders. In my role, I teach courses for leaders of Christian children's clubs. I also lead projects such as our podcast and evaluation tools. Additionally, I am a disciple-maker of two young leaders, a mentor for ten newly managed Christian scout clubs, and a leader of a scout club for 25 children ages 10-15, mostly from unbelieving families.
I have worked with Dorostová Unie for three years. Before this, I was with ADRA for seven years as the coordinator of 400 volunteers. In the local church, I led the children's club for three years and was the senior leader of the Christian scout club for four years. Additionally, I spent 15 years as a leader at the summer outdoor camp for children, two years as a church planter, and five years as a Bible study group leader.
Dorostová Unie is a successful startup that needs improvement. I have a lot of ministry experience, but not exactly the kind of experience needed to lead an organisation through this process. This is why I need the resources and help of the Forum.
