What is your ministry?
I run a small IT company called APEX Cloud Technologies, abbreviated as ACT. After ACTS from the Word of God, Jesus gave us the duty to spread His good news and teaching into the world. My vision behind this name was I would never miss the opportunity to share the gospel through this business. Along with IT services, we take every opportunity to lift the Christian community of Pakistan through various projects like skill development courses for needy Christians, enabling micro-businesses, disaster relief projects, etc. I also lead and mentor my church’s youth group.
When did you trust Christ?
I was born into a family of strong believers. Since childhood, we have had church at home, and my mother loved to have pastors and believers fellowship together; that helped me know Jesus Christ at a very young age. And then my pastor also spiritually encouraged me and enormously helped me to understand and accept Jesus as my Saviour. So I was in my teens when I accepted Jesus Christ and started following His teachings.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
My spiritual father and pastor helped us learn God's Word and know my Heavenly Father. There were many defining moments when trusting the Lord was the only option in my life, and having that strong faith encouraged me to trust God more and helped me grow spiritually. In addition, my family has significantly impacted my spiritual journey as I saw them believing in God in every circumstance.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
Possessing a robust command of Christian apologetics is an invaluable asset. It equips individuals with the skills to articulate and defend their Christian faith with clarity and reason. This knowledge encompasses a range of apologetic approaches, including historical evidence, philosophical arguments, and theological explanations. These serve as persuasive tools for engaging in meaningful dialogues and addressing questions or doubts that may arise in conversations about Christianity.
The ability to communicate effectively transcends the boundaries of faith and ideology. It encompasses active listening, empathetic engagement, and the capacity to convey ideas clearly and persuasively. Effective communication bridges the gap between differing perspectives, fosters understanding, and promotes respectful dialogue, facilitating meaningful interactions that lead to mutual learning and growth.
Cultivating a profound comprehension of Islam is fundamental when engaging in interfaith dialogues or seeking to build bridges of understanding with individuals of the Muslim faith. This involves not only familiarity with Islam's core beliefs and practices but also a deeper exploration of its diverse traditions, sects, and historical developments. Such knowledge fosters a respectful and informed engagement, enabling individuals to engage in constructive conversations and forge connections based on shared understanding and mutual respect.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
I have been involved in youth ministry in my church since my early professional life. Whenever I get a chance to share the gospel in my circle, I never miss it. I was the team lead software engineer, and I always got the pleasure of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with my peers and others.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
Sharing the Gospel in Pakistan, especially among Muslims, is challenging. Our business is our mission field. We recently responded to the flood-affected families. Our Muslim employees packed and distributed the aid but also visited church with us and listened to the Word of God. Daily, I share the gospel with them in different ways and help them know Jesus through my Christian attitude, and as a Christian company, I display Christian values. I also lead a church youth group; therefore, whatever I learn in ELF would be multiplied in many ways. I have a heart to uplift my Christian community in Pakistan so they can live with integrity. Therefore it's not about my training only. It's on behalf of many Christians in Pakistan who need to learn and grow spiritually. There are few Christian businesspeople in Pakistan, and I feel blessed that I am among a few of them. Still, I have the vision to join many people's hands and encourage them to glorify God in everything they do.
