When did you trust Christ?

At a young age (11), I attended a theatrical show about following Christ and becoming a Christian. The show delivered a compelling message about what happens to people after they die; this was the first time I had a real physical view of the difference between heaven and hell, well, at least as best as they could have described it. It had a significant impact on my life from early on. I remember going to a prayer room after the show, and I prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life; later on in life, at the age of 16, I learned about baptism and decided to be baptised.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to grow in biblical wisdom related to ministry and leadership. Also, I want to learn more about the New Testament description and requirements for planting and operating a church. Also, learn more about mentoring people who have just come to faith in Christ. I also envision meeting like-minded people passionate about Christ and building His kingdom biblically; I would also like to understand the different types of churches and their teachings/doctrines. I have a passion for people with a curious mind about faith and love to share the story of Christ with them. However, I find it difficult to talk to people who always seem to know better and like to use earthly examples and challenges to defend their view of why they do not believe in God. I hope to find the inspiration to deal with this situation better through the YRM course.
