I am coordinating a youth project that creates radio programs and podcasts about Christianity and faith—I am working with a team and content. I'm recording podcasts myself and organising live events for youth.
I made this decision at a Christian youth camp in 2013. At that time, I was 16 and intensely wished to understand the meaning of life and know God. I was raised in a non-Christian family, but my grandmother told me some stories from the Bible and taught some God-given principles.
I grew a lot through my local church. I had to take on different responsibilities and face challenges with people because I was responsible for our youth groups and organising various events. Also, in 2019, I joined a Christian organisation, Good News Centre, where I had the opportunity to use my talents and grow in mission work. I started leading a youth project and, later on, gathered a team. After some time, I began to work on the radio as a program director, which helped me develop as a leader.
I wish to learn and gain more knowledge from Forum leaders and speakers and share experiences with other Forum participants. Forum materials are an excellent tool for my spiritual growth and maturity.
I am the initiator and coordinator of a Christian youth project called "Jaunimo kodas" ("Youth Code"). This project aims to raise and answer everyday questions about faith, Christianity, and God. The team records radio programs and podcasts broadcasted on Lithuanian Christian radio XFM. Also, team members make articles, make Q&A videos, and have a social media ministry. I am responsible for leading the team, ensuring we have a radio program each week. I also look after the content we create and care about the quality of podcasts and interviews we prepare. A big part of my leadership is maintaining a good team environment and developing a ministry mission.
I think it is good to invest in young people. I minister to the youth, and my team focuses on the local area and the whole of Lithuania. I am eager to learn and gain experience from other people.
