Together with my wife, we are currently helping in the Evangelical Poland movement, which serves as a collaboration platform among evangelical Christians in Poland. We strongly believe there is a great potential for cooperation between churches in Poland for God's glory. My second area of ministry is my local church, which is growing and needs mature leadership. Apart from being an elder, I am also involved in leading men's groups and mentoring two young pastors.
I first trusted Christ in 1997 at a Christian student camp. My sister invited me, who had given her life to Jesus some years earlier. I fully understood the Gospel and my need for forgiveness and salvation at the camp. One evening I was asked a direct question about my future destiny - heaven or hell? This led to a deeper discussion, which ended with my prayer, asking God for forgiveness, and surrendering my life to Him.
In 1997 I joined the Christian Student Association (ChSA), where I was an active volunteer for many years. Serving at ChSA was a great experience. I learned how to study God's word, led Bible studies, organized camps and events, and worked with people from different churches. In 2015 I became a member of the board of ChSA. I can indeed say that my mentors Ewa and Mirek Pieszka greatly influenced my life, especially in the early years of my walk with Christ.
I want to learn about growing a movement/organization from other leaders from different countries. I am sure there are some organizational development patterns I am unaware of. I always enjoy working in a group, looking together for answers, and supporting one another. I am open to new ideas and trying new approaches to current situations. I also hope to build new friendships with other leaders, hopefully lasting longer than the YRM itself. I tasted mentoring at the ELF, and I enjoyed this time. I am convinced that God uses other people to inspire us.
Since I am involved in the Evangelical Poland movement, the Forum will surely help build relationships that will result in future cooperation. Furthermore, the Forum is a great place to learn about leadership, which is at the heart of my work. I am inspired to connect with other leaders from different countries. I signed up for the YRM, an excellent opportunity to grow throughout the year. I am open to feedback and ready to make changes as we are developing our movement - Evangelical Poland movement.
Since 2014 I have been a board member at ChSA. I support the organization and help make strategic decisions. In 2016 I became an elder in my local church, where I continue to learn how to be responsible for other believers and our community. I have also been involved in many initiatives organized by the Men's Development Institute (IRM) and Cru (MT28) throughout my Christian walk. I have led several conferences, camps, and meetings.
After almost 20 years of work at an insurance company, I am now transitioning to a new role in ministry. I am very excited about the vision of Evangelical Poland, and I would like to be part of it. Therefore, I treat my attendance at the Forum as a priority and the best place to learn and receive biblically-based inspiration for the future.
