Eunika Skrzypkowska works for Baptystyczna Akcja Charytatywna supporting foster families in Poland.

When did you trust Christ?

I grew up in a Christian family. My father is a pastor, and together with my mother, they fostered eight children. When I was 15, I met two missionaries whose passion for God and people deeply inspired me. Their faith was evident in every aspect of their lives. I desired to surrender my life to God and live with that same commitment. I prayed with them about this decision, and soon after, I felt called to become a missionary in Africa to support vulnerable children.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I completed a one-year Christian Leadership Academy in the UK, and my faith grew. This experience strengthened my confidence in my beliefs and my ability to share my faith with anyone. After that year, I joined a church-planting team sent by a UK church to Rwanda, Africa. We started by meeting in our home, discipling people one-on-one, and leading Bible study groups. I served in this role for two years, which was an incredible experience of living by faith every day

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope that attending the Forum will provide an invaluable opportunity to connect with others in ministry, allowing me to exchange experiences and learn from the diverse ways God is at work across Europe. Additionally, I believe the Forum will equip me with new insights, tools, and strategies to better serve the people I work with, especially foster families. By gaining fresh perspectives and deepening my understanding, I hope to strengthen the efforts to support vulnerable children and families in Poland, as well as build stronger partnerships with others in ministry.

What is your ministry?

I began working for Baptystyczna Akcja Charytatywna (BCA Poland), a non-profit organization under the Polish Baptist Union, launching and coordinating a project supporting foster families. Our work promotes foster parenting and educates churches in Poland about the responsibility to care for orphans in our country. I organize conferences for foster parents and family camps, and we hold a biweekly online Bible study group for foster parents, offering encouragement and prayer.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

In 2018, I led the women’s ministry at the church I helped plant in Kigali, Rwanda. In addition, I facilitated weekly Bible study groups and taught a leadership course we created for members of the church community. In 2022, I served as Assistant Director for the Christian non-profit organization OM in Poland. During this time, we launched the Culture House in Warsaw—a center designed to host meetings and workshops for refugees.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I am applying for this scholarship because I am currently unable to cover the full cost of the Forum. We are one of the few organizations in Poland that supports evangelical foster families on a national level. By investing in our ministry, individuals contribute to a movement that equips the church to fulfill its biblical responsibility to care for the orphaned and vulnerable in our communities and spread the love of Christ.
