What is your ministry?

I teach religion in a primary school, organise street evangelisation in Budapest, and do mission work with a children’s home. I help them attend church services, connect with Steiger to reach global youth, and plan to communicate with Crescendo to have violin lessons for kids in children’s homes. Meanwhile, I counsel people with different difficulties and try to reach contemporary artists, mainly non-religious, with the gospel.

When did you trust Christ?

Eight years ago, I had a severe illness and turned to God. I had a lot of information about Jesus, but my relationship with Him became personal only through this challenging time. Finally, I asked Him to come into my life and be my Lord, and I experienced His healing love. I use the word “healing” here in a spiritual sense.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I became a member of a youth Bible group, and there I had a lot of experience with the community, common prayer, and personal counselling. I participated in a seminar on counselling, where I formed a friendship with the leader of it. She became my role model, and she prays for me regularly. The occasions of preaching also affected my life effectively; I was strengthened through this ministry in my spiritual life. Every summer, I spend a week with my youth group members listening and speaking about the Word of God. I am growing in my spiritual life through my prayers and friendships. Particularly in my counsellor’s training, I get to know myself better.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I would like to connect and learn more about missions among artists, and it was very useful to learn about intercultural missions too. I hope I can join Year-Round Mentoring as well. I also want to have some time to reflect on my calling in specific areas of my life.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was a leader of a Bible group for some years, and as a theological student, I am regularly in the role of a preacher. I am a leader of children’s Bible classes and a member of the team which works for child evangelisation in my church.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I think this training would help me to be more effective in church-building, which will be my task after university, and in which I am already trying to participate.
