Dorin Ciorescu

Dorin Ciorsecu is a youth minister and the National Training Director for Josiah Venture's team in Moldova.
I grew up in deep poverty, constantly bullied and ashamed of my family. God met me in my brokenness. At age 14, I surrendered my life to Him, determined never to turn back. Through the mentorship of two key figures, God transformed my life, and now I am committed to guiding the next generation toward Him with the same grace and discipline I received.
My journey in faith was deeply shaped by two pastors who mentored me. One mentor was there for me in my early years. He grounded me in Scripture and supported my first steps toward God. After I accepted Christ, he invited me to daily devotionals, which helped me develop the discipline to spend daily time with God. Another pastor mentored me during my high school years. He taught me spiritual disciplines, encouraged my creativity, and walked with me patiently through struggles and victories. Their influence strengthened my foundation in God and embedded in me a vision to mentor others with the same grace and intentionality they showed me.
I would like to meet other believers so that we can develop partnerships.
My wife and I lead the youth ministry in our church. Since our city has several colleges, we aim to transform the lives of the incoming students during their formative years. In September 2024, I joined Josiah Venture's team in Moldova as the National Training Director. The mission is to equip young leaders to fulfill Christ's commission through the local church.
I served as the Youth Leader in our local church for ten years and as the Regional Youth Leader within the Baptist Union for the past five years. I managed the design and development of an online platform called 'Refugee Ministries Hub', which enables collaboration between over 400 Christian leaders across Europe and the US in a closed and secure environment.
We exist to know God and to make Him known through our deeds and words. Internally, we support members’ spiritual growth by providing sound teaching, fostering small groups and age-specific ministries, and equipping them for ministry. Externally, we strive to model a God-honoring lifestyle marked by deep integrity and engage with non-church individuals through various outreach projects designed for different age groups.
