I am a leader of a discipleship group. Also, I preach in our church and our fellowship. I am responsible for home groups in Kaunas Evangelical Church. I am a member of a pastoral team in our church.
I became a Christian in the autumn of 1991. One of my university friends started talking to me about Jesus. She brought me some books about the Christian faith, and I started reading them. I also started reading the Bible and finally decided to give my heart to Jesus. I did that while praying at home. Then I began to attend the church, The Word of Faith, and a home group.
I am happy I had good friends who were also my home group leaders. They impacted my faith the most. Later, I had to decide to stay in our church when our previous pastor’s job was made redundant.
The Forum has dramatically influenced my ability to teach the Bible. It also helps me lead a discipleship group and learn from other leaders, improving how I minister in our church.
First, I was a teacher in the Bible school for children in our church. Then, I was the leader of a home group. After that, I became a leader for other leaders of several home groups.
My desire is to make disciples who follow Jesus on an everyday basis. I will do my best to invest my new knowledge and practice in other ministers and laypeople in our church.
