Diana Vaškelienė
Diana Vaskeliene is an assistant pastor in her church in Lithuania.
I became a Christian in the autumn of 1991. One of my university friends started talking to me about Jesus. She brought me some books about the Christian faith, and I started reading them, along with the Bible. Then, I finally gave my heart to Jesus while praying at home. Soon, I began to attend the church, The Word of Faith, and a home group.
I am happy I had good friends who were my home group leaders. They impacted my faith the most. Another later defining moment was when I decided to stay in our church when our previous pastor’s job was removed.
The Forum has dramatically influenced my ability to teach the Bible. It also helps me lead a discipleship group and learn from other leaders, improving how I minister in our church.
I am the leader of a discipleship group and responsible for home groups in our church. Additionally, I am a pastoral team member in our church and preach the Word of God.
First, I was a teacher in our church's Bible school for children. Then, I was the leader of a home group. After that, I became a leader serving other home group leaders.
I will do my best to invest my new knowledge and practice in other ministers and laypeople in our church.
