What is your ministry?
I work at Crown Foundation, which is enabling people to learn and apply God’s stewardship principles of finance, talent, and career. We provide online and onsite training for people from both evangelical and Catholic backgrounds that allow them to implement new knowledge, skills, and convictions on stewardship. We publish books, provide resources and tools that help them become better stewards, help people get out of debt, and start supporting Kingdom projects financially. We closely collaborate with Crown Financial Ministries from the US.
When did you trust Christ?
I believed in Jesus during the summer of 1991. I was 15 years old then and I lived in a small Polish village. During the next few years, I was growing in my faith without any church but I read my Bible and Christian books. When I started to study at the University in Warsaw, I joined a church and got baptised. A few years after that I got married to a Christian girl who has been my wife for the last 23 years.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
At the age of 22, I was strongly involved in the campus ministry of my local church. Two years after that I was asked to take over major responsibility in a church. I was not prepared for that, but I did my best. I learned a lot about trusting God, teamwork, leadership, and going beyond my comfort zone. I was stretched out and pressured but that was time for rapid growth. I was mentored by an American missionary who helped me a lot at that time.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I attended ELF in 2023 for the first time. It was an important and valuable time. I met a lot of people my age from Eastern Europe. I was encouraged to learn more. My role in the organisation is changing and participating in ELF is helping me tremendously to understand the process.
What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?
During the last 25 years, I had different roles. I was in ministry for the first few years after graduating from university. I had different roles (e.g. Bible talk leader, Campus Ministry leader, junior pastor). In 2003 I left the ministry. Since then I have been an entrepreneur in the financial field. Additionally, I’ve been involved since 2008 in building a stewardship ministry in Poland as a co-founder of Edukacja Finansowa Crown (Crown Financial Ministry). Since 2018, I’ve been a part of the core leadership team of that foundation, having a role as President of the board.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I agree with the saying: “When a leader gets better, everyone around gets around” (Craig Groeschel). I’ve been practicing coaching and mentoring for the last few years now. I’m aware that the world around us is changing fast and influences the financial situation of an individual and churches. There is a great need to become better stewards in that area which may cause a lot of stress. Our ministry is focused on preparing and training other leaders who are well-equipped to help other people, so we multiply the leaders.
