What is your ministry?

My current ministry has been split between helping out with a church plant of the International Presbyterian Church in Gdańsk and co-leading a small group of young adults. With the church plant, I've been mainly helping with technical tasks of setting up a website as well as helping out with some outreach ministries in the local park close to the church. With the young adult small group, we're just finished studying the gospel of Mark and have moved to studying the 1st letter to the Corinthians. We're rotating teaching with two other church members.

When did you trust Christ?

During the summer of 2010, after hearing the message of the gospel multiple times, I started feeling the conviction of being a sinner unable to be saved on my merit. Earlier, I kept comparing myself to my peers and thought if anyone was going to be saved it would be me since I made better moral choices than them. During that summer I spent a lot of time praying to God, confessing my sins, asking for forgiveness, and committing my life to follow Jesus. I realised that my sins are forgiven through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross only and I can't do anything to achieve salvation on my own. Following that time, I started noticing that going to church stopped being such a chore, I wanted to read the Bible and spend time in prayer, as well as share the good news with my friends.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

One defining moment was joining the staff at our church's summer teen camp and leading my first small group. Other defining moments have included multiple hard experiences during my first two years of college, which showed me the importance of trusting God even when things are not going great and the risks of being a people pleaser while surrounding myself mainly with non-believing peers. It was also valuable to spend time in small groups with one elder from my church, Lance, and the leadership class with my pastor. Being surrounded by people with so much more knowledge and experience has taught me a lot about the Christian walk. It was also helpful to move back to my hometown and be closer to my parents who have been great spiritual role models my entire life.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

As I have just recently moved back to Europe, I think that attending the European Leadership Forum will benefit my ministry by learning from more experienced believers who have been serving in Europe for years, and learning how to apply the Biblical principles in daily ministry. I would like to find ways to be more involved in the church plant and there is still a lot for me to learn.

What is your leadership role or what were your past leadership roles?

I was on staff at a summer teen camp in 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2023, which was organised by the 2nd Baptist church in Gdańsk. I led small groups, games, and workshops. I also had one-on-one discussions with campers about the gospel.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I'm hoping individuals would like to invest in my training and ministry because I want to serve God by reaching new people in our city as well as investing in those who are already in the church. We are currently a very small church that needs leaders to grow and fulfill its mission in Gdańsk, Poland.
